The San Javier International Jazz Festival was born in the year 1998, as a result of the hard work of Alberto Nieto and a group of jazz fans. The San Javier Town Hall, through its Cultural Department, has given assistance to make this project a success. In less than a decade the festival has developed into one of the most important cultural events of the region of Murcia. The caliber of the participants and the media coverage gave this regional event an international attention. Hence it has been declared as one of ‘Regional Tourist Interest.’
Tickets to the scheduled concerts are on sale at the Cultural Department of the San Javier Town Hall.
